Some good new on the Ransomware front

This was some welcome news we saw today and big congrats to Cisco and OpenDNS (who Cisco recently bought) for the accomplishment. We’ve had several clients in the last 6 months be hit with variants of this and it is some of the worst malware we’ve seen in nearly 20 years in the industry.

The take down of 2 of the largest Ransomware/Encryption malware schemes is something to breathe a sigh of relief about. See the article below for details. It gets a bit techno complex, but it shows you the lengths the good guys have to reach to beat the bad guys.
